About Fran Alley
Fran Alley is a Vancouver Educator and artist for over twenty years. She is experienced in designing and implementing curriculum.
Fran has a B.F.A., B.ed, Provincial Instructors Diploma, Adult Education Diploma and recently obtained Guidance and Counselling Diploma from U.B.C. Fran is the founder of the Vancouver Art Guild, which is comprised of a group of thirty artists who regularly exhibit in Vancouver. The Vancouver Art Guild is known for the popular "Winter Salon" held on the first Sunday in November. Each year there are over 900 people in attendance for the show and sale.
From September to June Fran is the Department Head for Spectrum Learning Centre working with students who are "at risk".
Fran has taken six painting groups to France over the years and is familiar with the landscape and local towns and villages.
